Default RE: Gun Poll on USA Today

ORIGINAL: m9a9g9i9c

I think in many ways banning something for a governement is far more easier than getting people a proper education about it.
Alcohol for instance, softdrugs, guns, knives etc....

I agree with Remington girl, a better controlled way in purchasing firearms would help America deal with their problem.
I don't think crime has anything to do with it, it is just a big excuse both parties use.
Less guns in the proximity of unqualified users will mean less deaths or injuries....
Correct me if I'm wrong but in our little monkey country it worked !

I’m sorry man, and I’m not trying to sound hostile, but your post is riddled with assertions and generalizations about our country and our problems that are inaccurate.

I’d recommend that you go study world history. Starting around the beginning of the twentieth century would be good. Make sure you pay close attention to what America was doing during the 1940’s. After that, we’ll start comparing countries.

Then I think you should study American history; paying close attention to the declaration of independence and our amendments.

Then you should go look at some good statistics in regards to states that allow concealed carry permits and crime rates.

After you’ve done what I’ve suggested above, you’ll probably come back and edit your post and then we can talk.

Respectfully,

KP
