Sorta funny to read this, I was having the same problem on my dad's land last season. But pretty sure I gothim back. Trail cams are great inventions. I had my stand set in a set of two trees growing around 10ft apart. I set my stand in one, around 15ft and used tree steps in the other and put nothing but a trailcam, pointed directly at head level out of my stand, then took the steps out so he couldn't steal it. Then posted his pic in all of the fav spots in town. No facemask, or anything.

onlyproblem with this is that after such a stunt where our land is that it'll suddenly get burned down... i'm from the south but some of these friggin rednecks just give me a bad case of the red a$$... its the whole attitude that bothers me, the fact that ANYONE thinks they have a right to something thats not theirs just burns my butt... one of these days i'm going to go post that land, defend it, call the DNR (one of my uncles friends is an in-law to the head of the state DNR office), call the local police, and even if they torch i'll deal with the consequences... to some degree I kinda wouldn't mind a good torching cuz the land is grown up REAL bad... besides, most of these idiots road hunt anyway... and virtually no-one bow hunts around there...

SevenMag,

Can't you find a couple of deputies to give exclusive permission to, with the understanding they will keep everyone without written permission out?

This has worked for others that I know. Good luck.
