A view from inside. I dug a pretty good hole and sit on a straw bale. You will never get scented in this type of blind. The one fatal flaw of this type is no back exit. I have to throw rocks at the deer to get them to flee, that is until I bought a coyote call.

I don't have any pictures, but I try to make best use of what's already there. I would make sure to use gloves to keep the human scent to a minimum. Probably don't need to use your whole hunting camo/boot setup, but wouldn't hurt to spray some scent killer on the outside layer at least. Do it ASAP and maybe wait until a week into season to use it. Hunt another spot first to give it some time to become "normal" for the deer.

WOW great looking blind Skeetr!!!!! I'm in the process of making a pit/ground blind. I got the whole dug, need to put a floor in and roof, then make it into a brush pile to match all the other brush piles I have on my property! Looking forward to hunting out of it!

I would make a back exit somehow. I have had deer so close you could stab them with a knife. Good luck have fun

that is a nice blind skeetr. I guess I could take a leafy windfall from a tree that fell earlier this year and hook it up to the atv and drag it over there for background cover.

natural blinds are cheaper than the store bought ones. I do set up my blind about the day I decide to go hunting. dont want to loose one to a tress passer.
