how soon does everybody set up there blinds and how long does it take for deer to get used to them? i set a couple of my blinds about three months ago and one other one about two weeks ago. do you think thats enough time for deer to get used to them? season opens in october in massachusetts.

Did ya'll brush them in??I set one up,a few years ago didn't brush it in had about 2 months figured they would get use to it!!! NOPE--The big black hole where i zipped the front down spooked them.
Last year set it up during season, brushed it in real good especially the front where i looking through limbs & leaves with the front zipped down,Seen two does and three fawn the first day--Killed a buck the second!!

If it is not out in the open and is brushed in good, I have set them up for other hunters just before they hunted in it and they have gotten opportunities. Try to snuggle it in next to or under a tree or bushes and be sure to brush it in good and a few days to a week should be plenty of time.

if you`re by some brush they`re fine,I would`nt hunt out of one in the middle of a field or anywhere the deer will notice a differance in thier surroundings, keeping in mind they probobly walk down these trails quite often if not twice a day.

This is the set up I like... Ask the farmer to leave about 4 rows by 6 row wide of standing corn when they pick it. After that is done, take your ground blind and set up directly in the middle. It is a good stealthy way to pop some deer
