short bows

I have a Bear Instinct, which is 30" ATA, and havea 30 in. draw length. The bow only goes up to 29" draw length, but after some tinkering with a different cam they were able to set it. I shot numerous bows of all sizes when I bought it, and there is no discernible kick at all.

The Ross would be a great bow........The 334 might be better just to avoid the string pinch on the nock that would be created by a long draw and very short bow.....That would be my only concern though...
No, they don't have any more "kick" that I've noticed......

Depends on how big you are, how long your draw length is and how well you shoot.
I would not suggest a short bow for a larger archer with a long draw length, or a newer archer. They work, but a longer bow would be more forgiving to shoot well.
As far as "kick" or recoil goes size really doesn't play a huge part in it. And most short bows have more laid back limbs that actually help with hand shock and jump.

I think the shorter bows got a bad rap because in the begining they didn't come with a lot of brace hight witch made them a lil harder to shoot esp. from a tree stand, but that problem has been aproved upon a lot in the past few years.
