I don't whoop it up or holler when I am alone. I get excited but am too busy replaying everything in my mind on the shot and ect... so I don't miss anything. My main focus is finding the deerif it runs out of sightor putting my hands on the deer if he falls in sight. That helps me calm down.
Once I get my hands on the deer, I take a couple minutes to replay the whole hunt. While I don't cry like a baby like Shed33( [8D] ) some huntscanbring ona lot of different emotions then being justextemely happy. I save the tearsfor when Iscrew up a hunt. [
]
Now when Tyler gets a deer andI get to see the whole thing happen... You will see a totally different side to me. His first bowkill found it hard notto jump up and down, shed a tear andact like a mad man drunk on joy. Irememberhow I first felt when I shot my first deerand didn't want to take awaythat experience for himby letting my emotions get carried away. I made it a couple minutes.
