I was going to say 'just take it' since he had to trespass to get it there, but now I like the 'take the camera and leave a note' idea better.

It forces the guy to choose between losing his cameraversus owning up to trespassing andhaving to askfor his stuff back. Could be a real win-win and a lesson learned.

I would mess with the guy a little first and the get the land owner into it is his land let him decide what to do with it

maybe put a camera on that camera. So when they check it, you know who iy is. Maybe they just left it there...not sure what kind it is? Or just all of you who have permission moon the camera. They next photo hold up a no tresspassing sign.....jk.

I think the note where the camera use to be is fair!
