Well guys my friend just shot a buck last Saturday and it was a big one for his first buck! He got up in his stand before daylight and then at around 7:20 A.M. and he heard something coming and sure enough a big 8 came into the food plot. He double lunged it and it piled up within40 yards. I'm very happy for him. Here's the picture below with his family. My friend is the one in the green flannel. Sorry for the big picture..

The sign is his dad's Poetry business. And i forgot to say that the buck never had any balls but it did have a dinger, is there a reason behind that? And he was just coming out of velvet as you can see it hanging off the antlers. Also the buck was 311 pounds live weight, and something like 255 dressed.

Very nice. It always makes it that more special when you can share it with family and friends.

Nice buck. What part of the state is it from? I talked to the treestand poet this summer near Minocqua. My dad bought a hunting poem that goes on the wall. He writes some really good stuff.
