Looks as if he may have been hit by a car or another hunter who apparently doesnt belong in the woods. Take him out, he looks as if he has a pretty nasty infection in there.

Look at the spot just at the top of his shoulder, it appears as if he had been hit very high, theres a spot that looks as if and arrow had hit him.

his antlers are perfectly grown, he is a young buck, and has typical young buck antlers...

This deer is a 1 1/2 yr old with typical sized antlers for a late born fawn from the previous year. I really don't believe that an arrow caused this growth, the pic was taken a week BEFORE bow season started here. The odd part is that the black spots and growth appeared in a span of 3 weeks or so. I would just like to know what the red thing sticking out of his shoulder is. I put my camera back in this food plot again, maybe I will get a better pic
