Spine or brisket shot?

I have taken the straight down spine shot 3 times and harvested all 3 animals, right at the bottom of my tree. I have practiced this same shot 1000 times in my yard. The results on the spine shot have all been the same, through the spine all have either hit the heart or major vessels near it and my broadhead came through the chest plate twice and once just the tip poked through.
I have not nor do I practice the front facing shot, so I would not even consider taking it.
Everyone has their opinions on what is an ethical shot. For me, it is simple, any shot that I absolutely know when I release the arrow will result in a humanely killed deer.

I too would pass on either shot. I've taken a straight down spine shot and it is very tough to be spot on. In my case, I missed slightly to the right and made a 1 lung shot. Lucky for me it was in the early AM and I had all day if I needed it to track. Well, it was early season and it did take most of the day to recover my buck. And it was partly by chance that I found it having run out of blood and making circles in heavy foliage. Luckily I caught a glimpse of white. After that experience, I refuse to take the spine shot. As for the frontal, I just wouldn't consider it.

So far I've only taken one deer with my bow and I spined it. I do not ever want to spine another deer, EVER! So I'd pass on that shot.
On the frontal shot, I'd take it. I believe an arrow placed between the shoulders would easily tearup some vitals.
I don't forsee any reason for myself to ever aim for the whitepatch on the throat.
