I second that agreement. I would personally like to congratulate all the new hunters who have harvested a deer this year especially the youth hunters. Youre the reason this sport is still alive. No matter how big or small the deer is, rack or no rack, buck or doe, remember any deer taken is a trophy. Dont let anyone tell you any different. Ive been hunting for 15 years and have shot alot of deer in that 15 years, but it took till 2002 before i got my first wall hanger buck a 130 class 8 point buck. I worked hard for thebuck all bow season and focused all my attention on him. Was never offered a comfortable shot, bow season ended. I got him opening day of the 2002 Wi Gun Deer season. I cried when I shot him, this was deerI had been working so hard to get all fall, even passed up a big 10 pointer to get this one. Every deer I have shot has been a trophy and each set of hornsI have collected in the past 15 years tell a story. If you shoot a spike buck, mount them horns, mount all the horns you get and remember to take alot of pictures. These are times that youll never want to forget. If you want to mount a doe head go for it. Congrats again and thank you kids. Good luck to thoes who have not harvested their deer yet. Keep it safe and legal.

You absolutely do not have to add the lines..."I might catch some flak for her size..." or " I know he's not the largest buck..." when telling your stories and sharing your pictures on this board!!!!! ESPECIALLY when it is your very first deer!!!!
There has been some very fortunate new and young hunters who have scored and all of them add these lines to their posts because they think the"Big Bucks Only"crowd is going to bash them. If you are one of the LOSERS who posts the "awfully small" or "not much of a buck" posts among the dozens of congratulations which you know these young hunters keep checking back on and get excited all over again when they read the kind words... well then do us all the favor of not calling yourself a hunter or "archer" and go back to cutting old ladies in line and yelling at kids for "playing to loud" and slamming the door in ladies faces......
