Default Update

I went down to repair the roof of my house. I lost about 30% of the shingles from my roof. I also six ceilings collapse in places. I put a few tarps over my roof, and seeled the ceiling to prevent hot air from entering my house.

I was on the verge of moving to Illinios since the casino my father worked at, the Grand Casino in Gulfport, MS, was damaged. My father found a job with the same company in St. Charles, Missouri. We were planning on moving to Collinsville, Illinios to stay near my father. The schools around here were not very good, so my father told me to stay down in Mississippi where there are great schools. (Now I know most of you are wondering why I "lied" about there being great schools in Mississippi. The school I go to, Ocean Springs High School, is a 5.0 school. That is the highesta school can be.I guess this changes your opinion on Mississippi, right? Probably not. )

I am in Collinsville, Illinois right now, but I am going back to Mississippi next Sunday. Before I left I set out a few string traps to see if deer were walking through my hunting area. I went to check thetrapsa week later, andI saw three sets of prints from different deer, but they did not set off any of my traps.I have a feeling this spot will be better thenmy last spot. My last spot was on a dirt road. I climbed a tree that was two feet from this road. At about 9 'o clock the road would be full of people developing the subdivision. I saw a new set of tracks every two weeks near my stand.

I went to shoot my bow at Tim Buck Tu onFriday. I haven't shot in a few weeks, but I kept all of my shots in a 2" circle at twenty yards. I hope to be ready for opening day. I think that I may make it this year. All I have to do is practice with broadheads out of my stand. I should be ready after that.

I do have to order another one of those disposable camera timers. I think mine may have been lost in the mail. [8D]

Well it sounds like you are getting pretty much ready for the season. That new spot definitely sounds like it has some potential. Keep up the practicing and I am sure you will have some meat in the freezer come this fall.

Zak: glad to hear that you're okay and that you may have a more productive hunting spot. Shoot those broadheads man, I want to hear a success story.
