MountainDevil54 Not saying that CVA is the only company with problems. I am just sharing what happened to me.
Was your TC brand new and not fired when it required to have service?
I just think that a product should be as advertised, without defects and if not, a consumer should not have to pay to rectify any problems.
I might have felt different if actually got to use the product. I also may have felt a little different if CVA customer service had stepped up and offered to pay for the shipping the first time around.

I should start this off with - really I am not a BPI/CVA fan - I have had a few and they certainly worked - but would I not run out and buy one - not without reservations... With that said.. I know of at least one person that I have a lot of trust and faith in - he has a new Accura and has claimed it to be a 'new coming'
Next - even with the frustrations you have expressed - I would really advise you to contact Mark @ BPI/CVA - he has the power to do what you need done and he has the inclination to make his gun owners happy - far beyond the norm.
Email him direct and even better if you catch up with hime talk to him - I would almost guarantee you that he can and I would bet you the problem(s) will be handled...
Please try it...

I have now had two different Accura's... I'm not saying you didn't get a bad one because you can get a bad anything. My two Accura's however have been perfect, I'm not sure about the play in the barrel,,, there is a point when the gun is open and the barrel gets "out" of the reciever that you can get a little wobble but i don't think that will cause any accuracy problems... how did the second gun shoot by the way?
Bottom line is CVA is a quality company with outstanding customer service and I'll put the Accura up against any muzzleloader on the market feature for feature... most importantly in this day and age price range. I bought a blue/black Accura not long ago for $280 out the door... for that price you get a highly accurate Bergara barrel, the best trigger on a current muzzleloader, a stock that fits like a glove, and a Claw sling... like everyone else said Mark will make you happy.
