I haven't had a chance to completely clean and treat my barrel yet however when I complete this task and get out to shoot I will let everyone know how it went. I am pretty excited about it and it really made a lot of sense to me what I was told.

I ended up going duck hunting today with my father and his buddy. We ended up with 15 ducks 3 shy of our limit. Just wish we could have shot a little better. All in all great day.

Yep! I got out to do some elk hunting this morning - last three days of rifle season Mon-Tue-Wed - I am using the White with naturally a Nosler...

Dang moose! everywhere I went I was running into moose and even a couple of whitetail.... I sat and watch one big cow feed for 20 minutes could have thrown a bullet @ her and hit very easily... we just watched each other until i got bored and said Hi! to her - that did she left... 8 different moose this morning not one elk.... da#$^&#*bg!

Scrub the barrel out real well with a quality lead and copper remover and wash it out real well with alcohol soaked patches and dry patches and see if it helps. I might imagine that if you shot some conicals over high powder charges your ironing in some lead in the grooves. It doesn't take much to cause an occasional flier. Just a thought.

My biggest dream is to go elk hunting. I have a friend who lives in Colorado and I am hoping he gets in on a great place he can show me later. Otherwise I am looking into Idaho a friend from the church goes there every year to hunt Mulies.
