Whats happening fellas, nothing going on here. Been real busy at work, so i guess its coming at a good time with the weather being so hot. This weather needs to break soon, but it looks like its going to this coming weekend. Ill be out there on thursday afternoon for sure, then probably friday morning, maybe friday evening and sat morning. Hopefully i can change my luck.

Yea, it looks like it will be a good weekend finally. High's in the low 60's and low's in the mid to lower 30's. Hopefully we can get that first frost this week.

Love this cooler weather. The high here was only 60. I think I'm gonna give it a try tomorrow afternoon. I've got an inside corner on a corn field that's been callin my name since the corn was shelled. Finally have a north wind and nothing planned for tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll return with something in the truck.

Sup boys? Went out after work yesterday. Got in the stand by 5:30 and as I am pulling my bow up I hear some deer walking towards me. I get my bow and my release on and look over to see a small 6pt and a large mature doe walking behind my stand about 20 -25 yds out. Pull up the range finder and they are at 19yds when they stop. Since I didn't get ready in time they had walked through my first shooting lane and ended up on the opposite side of the tree behind me. I drew back and settled the 20yd pin behind her shoulder and right before I release I look down at my broadhead and there is a twig with a couple leaves on it about a foot from the end of the arrow. So I had to let down and let hergo.After they were out of sight Igot the trimmers out and cut those damn branches off. Half hour later I had a small 8pt (80" - 100") walk right under my stand. He looked really healthy sohe should be a good one in a couple years. All in all I had a good night, I have seen deer every time I have been in the stand this year. I feel pretty good about tomorrow morning. I'm hunting the big farm(2000acres) all day tomorrow.6 different stands to choose from, so wish me luck and good luck to the rest of the team.

Sounds like everyone is gunna be out tomorrow, best of luck to everyone. Im going to one property tomorrow morning that has some great deer running around. I have pusrposely stayed out of the honey hole until the weather dropped, guess where ill be tomorrow.

Could one of you guys tell me how to post a picture on here, i have some good picks of a great buck one of my hunting partners shot off my one property. You guys have to see the brow tines on this thing. Its a really good buck for my area.

Boring day yesterday. The morning was perfect, but we didn't see a thing. Upper 50's, overcast, and light rain off and on, but not a single deer came through. Did see 4 off in the distance in the afternoon. I haven't had any luck in the mornings so far.
