Finally got the food plots planted yesterday. NOt asmoist as we wanted, but it appears to be as good as its going to get. If we get rain this weekend, we should be seeing green in about 12 days. The new 4 wheeler is a disc pulling machine. Hope to get a hunt in in KY this weekend, but I'm not sure its going to happen.

I decided to head out tomorrow and set up my ground blind. I'm just affraid it might get stolen even though its on private property. But I wanna get it set up and some brush piled around it. Just hopefully some idiot dont think they need it more then I do.

pwrstk350---I feel your pain. My wife and kids gave me a double-bull for my birthday and I'm dying to use it. The problem is, I'm dying to remain the owner of it. I hunt private property as well, but things seem to always disappear. Let us know how it all plays out. Good luck.

We had one blind almost taken - my brother caught the guys trying to drive off with it in the back of their pickup - he blocked the road with his truck - jumped in the back threw the blind out, along with the rest of the contentslocated in the bed, ascuffle ensued which resulted in the guy getting back in his truck, locking the doors and going off road to get outta Dodge... never seen or heard from him him since (that was turkey season though).

Best of luck to everyone out hunting - be safe and put some bone on the ground!

Mike

OH - food plot went in last week, nice rain that night and is up, lush and green already, (about 4 inches high)just hope the frostdoes not drop that far south tonight.

Unscathed by the frost - high temps to go back up to mid 80's - lows in mid to low 60's and more rain scheduled for mid week - so great news for the new seeding!

So how did everyone do this weekend - anything hitting the ground?

Mike
