Did you ever read all that happened to me with my Cuddeback? Here is a link to the writeup:

Still have not gotten it back. Really not sure what to expect when I do. I will be posting what happens as I do want everyone to know what there customer service is like. I figure if only a fraction of the people considering getting one don't because of me the the money they made off of me will be lost that way. I feel that is the only way to get these companies to listen to the little guys. They need to treat EVERY customer as if they were their ONLY customer.

I did read about your cuddeback, and that sucks. I have always thought about getting one and never pulled the trigger because of the price. I just think of the things I could get with that much money being put elsewhere, like camo and stuff. I'm sure one day I will break down though, unless of course your story becomes the norm with the company. This weekend does look for weather-wise so hopefully I can get a buck for our team.

When you do decide to get a camera spend less on a cheaper one. Then if it fails after a couple of years you are not out so much. I posted that same thing on Archerytalk and several others posted that they were having the same problem. Some even posted that on here but when they lost all the posts from the end of sept and early oct they were lost.
Well good luck this weekend. I think we are going to get rained on but I hope it is just a light rain. That is always when I see more deer anyway.

I am thinking the same thing as far as money for cameras goes. I just have a hard time spending that much with the potential for theft/malfunction/weatherwear and tear. I bought a Moultrie this year for $100 and it works good, more operator than anything else! My brother has a Moultrie as well and his also works flawlessly. I'm really not sure what Cuddeback does that makes them so expensive, when the pics from my camera look just as good, so clarity is not the price raiser. Who knows.
I think I am going to get wet on Saturday as well, but as of yet, I haven't melted, so I'll still be out! Gotta get my wife a deer. I wish she had been with last night because that doe would have been in for a rude awakening! It will be her first with the bow when she gets one, so hopefully it is soon! If a monster walks in though and we are together, its going to be tough deciding who shoots!

That Moultrie is one that I am thinking about. The other would be the wildview. Tell your wife I wish her all the best getting that first one. It would be a tough call if a monster comes by. Might be in your best interest to let HER shoot. Maybe just leave your bow behind and film her hunt. Don't know what I would do.

Filming her is definitely in teh cards as well. I have heard good things about the Wildview cameras, though I can't speak from experience. There are so damn many now, its tough to choose. The Wildlife Eye is the neatest thing out there, but again, the price. I just need to make more money and not work at all so that I can get all these toys and have time to play with them. Thanks for the regards for my wife by the way. I'll keep you posted!

Camera's are nuts. Like you said there are so many out there. That is why these companies need to take care of the customers that they have. Oh well. Then you have things like the '07 bows. WOW is all I can say. I don't see any way I will be replacing my Trykon as it took about 8 months to get all tricked out the way I like it. I will be going out and shooting the new Hoyt's and that new one from Bowtech. Gotta at least try all that is out there.

Pretty good news from me...Im will be going to Rifle Point, the private trophy hunting place next weekend. I am leaving friday night after my football game, driving to Natchez, MS and will be hunting sat morn/evening and sun morn. hopefully I will have something for yall when I get back. I will pass on pretty much anything I see this weekend, except for a doe.

Go get'em there phall. Don't pass on something just because of this team. If you see something that YOU would be proud taking then go for it.
I am heading out tonight for the weekend. We have a mini 4 day gun season going on so I am not planning on seeing a whole lot. We can (Thank God) use bows during the gun hunt where I am at so at least I will get out.
