I talked with our leader Todd and he apologized for the delay with his buck. He said how busy he was and I can understand that for sure. He's calling his taxi to get his score so he can submit it. He sends his appreciation to everyone. Keep up the great work guys.

Good to hear from you again Todd. No late kills for me, saw one real good buck, but couldn't get it done. Preparing for turkey season now and target archery. Take care! Thanks for the update also Rob.

Went this morning. Only buck in range was a 4 pt. and I had to shoot outside the ears. I drew back on him to see if I would of been able to shoot him and I did it with out him evennoticing me(he was about 10 yards when i drew). Pretty exciting hunt though. Saw 8 deer. I have one more hunt until im done, one morning this week and possibly the evening that day.

Todd thanks for checking in. I bet you have been busy. This is a great site and I am sure it takes a lot to keep it that way. Most of my hunting was early before my son headed off to the US Navy. After he left I was just after the big guys and never did get a chance at one. I did get a nice 8 point with gun while hunting with my Dad. He can't bow hunt so the gun season is the only time he comes out anymore. We had a great time and even though I would rather get my deer with bow I had to take this one as it was worth it just to see my Dad get so excited.

Pike - Good luck this last week. Knock down a big one. Be careful to not get busted by the little ones when you draw on them. They will remember that when they are bigger and might not come back past that stand.
