Default Question on Honey Hole

The way it looks is that Honey Hole is a VERY good plot to plant. At least its gotten my attention. I have a few questions about it. Is it an annual or perennial? Do I need a soil test for it? And finally, for some reason it seems like during this time of season EVERY other surrounding property you can hear gun shots from and you hear about "this guy" or "that guy" getting a big buck, but NEVER on my property. Will Honey Hole help solve this problem? It seems like such a good deer property but theres gotta be a reason the deer are choosing every other property. Thanks guys.
