Here is a look down at my Honey Hole.
Here is a topo of my honey hole. As you can see the two woods come together by a hedge row. I have two stands in this hedge row and catch the deer traveling across the golden rod field. This year, the field also contains my food plot. http://maps.yahoo.com/beta/#maxp=search&mvt=s&trf=0&lon=-76.749609&lat=41.225909&mag=3
The cross in the center is where one of my stands hang overlooking the food plot. To the east is the larger part of the woods. It's thick, has a stream down the center. To the east of the woods is my family farm with the patch of trees in the center. Bunny haven and also a bedding spot. Usually corn, this year is beans. To the west of my stand is the larger of the bedding area but the deer can come from anywhere. North of the stand on the other side of the hedge row is a corn field and then a recreation area.
This has been my own little slice of heaven for many years.

Say, just what were you doing in that photo? It didn't look right with your back facing the road and the tree right in front. Looks like a good spot if you would quit marking your territory

Rob, that looks like a FINE place for "EnigmaMan" to ambush a whopper!!! I can see why you like that spot so much.
I've been to maps.yahoo before, but I could never figure out how to get the topo like that. Mind giving a hint?

Fieldmouse, someone must be in my stand, I don't whiz out of it..lol
mobowhuntr, I've seen some whoppers there, taken some decent bucks, it's a little suburban honey hole.
partsjay, patience....
MOTOWN, I hunt the whole woods from time to time up to the next hedge row or the next funnel/narrow, that's where the property changes hands. That is also a nice little funnel area.
What your seeing NE is our County Fairgrounds....they use to run some car races, now it's just horse races during fair time and demo derbies.
