i have a 900 acres that borders the ohio and mississippi river in ky. It is very good soil. A few large beanfields, but i was wondering what else should i think of plant for fall and winter plots?? Thanks Mike

Check out the blends that NutriPlot has put together. They have a fall and a winter blend that works very well. Follow their link on www.sportssalesoutdoor.com. They are locted not far from you in SE Missouri and have had excellent success with their blends.

I would try two different plants: corn and brassicas. They will cover all your fall and winter needs if you make the plotsbig enough.

also what size should the plots be?

No smaller than two acres if you want to do it right.

i would go with some winter wheat
