I would have not left very quietly, i' ve had that happen to me a few diferent times.people just no sence of curtousy. Last fall i was invited to hunt with my neighbor and his son and nephew. i accepted (of course-didnt want to say no)to go, with set time and place already in place, morning came and by the time i got there @6:00 only one was there, joe-his son- had said that the others had already left ,we were on our own... me not exactly knowing where the others went i chose to go where there were no foot prints (just to be safe), i walked for about 1/2 hour and came across a very nice little spot, a small clearing of about 75 yds wide, sat down and waited, see a couple of does come through and thought -cool wait and see whats next--well low and behold the next thing was two of the guys i was hunting with--very dissapointed...later in the evening one said ' i thought i saw something over there' .... yup it was me. never did see any more that day...bummer..

That is just a sad state of affairs. i am glad that i have my own property. i really do not know how i would handle it. i am sure that there would not be a deer anywhere close to us when the situation was over. We are all supposed to be on the same team against mother nature here arn' t we. isn' t it amazing to se how some poeple never grow up at all! just sad!!![:' (]

I' m amazed nobody has mentioned the obvious solution.

Shoot him in the leg, slash the tires on his truck, burn his house down, sleep with his wife, sister & mother and then maybe go back and beat the hell out of him.

I am under great stress, and have agression issues. I hunt to relax. He should know better than to mess with a mans recreation.

It is a sad fact of life that some people feel because they have a right to something there entitled to use it no matter the effects it has on others. Yes they have the right but it' s not always ethical. I have found it is a mute point to try and reason with this kind of person. For they have no ethics, only rights.

I would have definately left. This guy is dangerous and you' re a lot better off to get away from him as soon as possible. I' ve been in the same situation before and it is a very uneasy feeling being around someone like that. Be careful out there and good luck to you.

I' ve been hunting public land 20+ years and have only had something similar happen 1-2 times max. Most recent was 5-6 years ago in the Francis Marion Forest. I lived 25 miles from where a buddy and I was hunting but we took seperate trucks and parked at a pull in. Sorta thought 2 trucks parked there would discourage others from walking in on us.
Around about 10:00 am I see this dude coming thru the woods, the only way into this area was right by our trucks. Here he comes, closer....., closer........, I ease my 30-06 over and fire a round off to the side and that sucker damn near crapped his pants. He looked up at me in my climber and I put a finger to my lips and said," Shhhhhhhhh" He got all pissed off and left the way he came.
I was telling my buddy about it later that morning and he tells me he saw the same dude before he got to me. My buddy was in his climber when the dude comes in on him and proceeds to take a dump about 40 yards from my buddy' s stand. Joe yells at him to get the h*ll out of there, instead of heading back out to the road he comes on into my stand and I.........
