I plan on getting one this year also....There is a tree right in front of the feeder and during the snows, I seen buck tracks heading away from the feeder the night before, so I' m gonna check to see what kinda buck' s leaving them

Congratulations, you' ll really have fun with it. Its addicting!! You asked where to put it..........at first put it in the obivous places ( trials, mineral licks, feeders, water holes, food plots) I move mine every 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. You' ll be amazed......if you see tracks on the ground........set it up there you' ll get pictures. I think now about placing mine in areas of the property I don' t normally hunt or have been thinking I should.
Have Fun!

I just put my CamTrakker out yesterday. Put it on the edge of a swampy area, right on a trail leading out of it. Because of a mixup in my handling it, the first pic on the 36-exposure roll is me staring back at the camera from 2 1/2 feet away . . . My wife, who was with me at the time, found that incredibly funny . . .
Another member of my camp was up there yesterday, and he went by about 25 yards from where the camera is (yes, I can trust him), but didn' t see us. We got out of the woods, and started walking down that particular logging road, and my wife found tracks in the tire tracks from the 4-wheeler that the other member had ridden. Figures.[

And, if the number of deerflies in the woods is any indication of how many deer are there, we' re gonna get overrun this year![&:]
