Last summer I sold my 300 ultra mag to a friend of mine he called me today and asked if I wanted to buy it back the recoil was too much for him I said " SURE" I wish I never sold it but I have it back now and I' ll never sell it again. Just thought I' d share a wonderful day I had today.

roman--Yes I got it for $50.00 less than I sold it to him

congratulations on your reaquirement , but why did you sell it , i fixed the recoil problem on mine with a good old fashioned muzzle brake

How would you describe the recoil of a 300 Ultra? I have never shot one. How does it compare to a .338 Win Mag? I' ve heard that the 300 is more of a fast, sharp recoil, is this true?
