My daughter just moved to Oklahoma City Oklahoma, could anyone point out some decent public hunting land in that area for deer hunting?[/align][/align][/align]Thanks[/align]

I personally don't hunt public land here, but if I am allowed to post another forum site then check out oklahomabowhunter.com. I am pretty sure they have a whole section about public land hunting. Hope that helps ya out.

I'll bow hunt public in Oklahoma, but I'm rifle hunting on private. There are just to many good ol' boys down there that will let you hunt their property. Her being a gal, should even help more to help her gain access. She should ask around.
There is some real good bow hunting down by Madil, Ardmore, and Tishamigo.(SP) Lots of good spots down by the river and Lake Texoma. However, when rifle season gets there, to many guns for me to be on public, unless you know some really good spots.
