I'll bow hunt public in Oklahoma, but I'm rifle hunting on private. There are just to many good ol' boys down there that will let you hunt their property. Her being a gal, should even help more to help her gain access. She should ask around.
There is some real good bow hunting down by Madil, Ardmore, and Tishamigo.(SP) Lots of good spots down by the river and Lake Texoma. However, when rifle season gets there, to many guns for me to be on public, unless you know some really good spots.
