ShelG since mineral blocks, rocks, licks, recipes, etc., do absolutely nothing other than provide a source of salt for your herd the only reason I use them is to get the deer to step in front of my cams. And after trying every block, lick, rock, recipe, etc., over the last 15 + years the best thing I have found to get the deer in front of my cams is a plain old generic 50 lb. mineral block that you can get at your local feed store for $6.00 each. The deer love them and they will last about a year. Pike
