where is the best place to put up a scouting camera?

If you are talking about for deer - In areas where you think deer will appear - doe trails and buck trails, trails leading to food sources, rubs, rub-routes, scrapes. I put mine on scrapes, so I know what the bucks look like that made the scrapes.

heavily traveled trails, staging areas (where the deer all hold up before they go out to feed in fields), if ur stands are above trails, hang them there to see what passes your stand and when.. and I also hang them over scrapes and such..
