You will be just fine. The more experience you get while hunting and the more knowldege of the game you hunt, will make you a better hunter.
You will soon realize not only what to do but more improtantly what not to do.
As others have said hunting the wind is crucial. IMHO, hunters that don't appreciate the deer's sense of smell are making the absolute biggest mistake.
Use you camo, always try to keep your sent away from the deer, limit the amount of noise and movement you make and you'll be on your way.
Good Luck to ya!

I just want to put in my two cents worth. I have hunted in jeans and tshirt (which has been said already) and i had deer come up and lick my boots while sitting on the ground. You have to pay attention to the wind and how you control your scent. im a big fan of apples and before i go into the woods i take apples and rub them all over my clothes and boots. with scent control you must remain still. Deer notice movement more than what colors you wear. When i wear camo its becausei just like the way it looks rather than what its suppose to do. The military will work good especially if its Marine Corps camo. But like i said its just more for looks than actual conealment. So long story short pay more attention to your scent and the wind and be careful how much you move around. Good luck to you and welcome to the amazing world of hunting and wildlife.
