I dont have experience with them... but you can make a good cheap feeder with just some 6 inch PVC pipe from home dept with a 45 degree attachment... works great for corn.

THE 6INCH PIPE THEY ARE REFERRING TO IS ON THELEFT OF THE PICTURE. IT IS PULLED OUT DO TO A LOCAL BEAR THAT ENJOYS MY SET UPS. I HOOK THEM WITH OLD COAT HANGERS(METAL TYPE) THEN JUST PAINT EVERYTHING UP

IMHO...YOU DON'T NEED TO PUT 45 DEGREE PIPE ON THE BOTTOM. DEER WILL HAVE THE FOOD GONE IN THE PIPE IN 2 DAYS. IF YOU HAVE A VERY SMALL DEER HERD, YOU MIGHT WANT TO USE THE 45 DEGREE PIPE TO KEEP THE CORN OFF THE GROUND. I USE 6INCH PVC AT LOWES, DRILL TWO SETS OF HOLES TO RUN THE HANGERS THROUGH AND THEN HOOK IT TO A TREE ABOUT 1-2 INCHES HIGH, THE WEIGHT OF THE CORN WILL MAKE IT SELF FEED. IF YOU PUT IT TOO HIGH IN THE AIR, ALL THE CORN WILL RUN OUT.
