Default Feeder Question.

Have any of you used Alfalfa Pellets in your feeder instead of corn? if so did the deer like it?

We put out alfalfa bails through the winter but the whitetail don't eat it too much, the exotics wear it out though. I haven't ever used the alfalfa pellets, right nowwe run the 16%pellets mixed with split peas and corn and have good luck with that as well as just a 50/50 mix of 16% pellets and split peas...

I feed alfalfa pellets in my protein feeder , but not in a spin cast feeder. If you get any rain the pellets will expand and clog the feeder.
