In FL you must be awarded a Doe permit (no matter what size) and Bucks have to display spikes 5" above the hair line (no matter what size)....
that is true in most cases....here comes the but, lol....on a Tosohatchee, if they shoot a buck under 5'' they are counted as the doe as your permit.....
If you have a Doe permit, Right?
NO.....you can shoot a doe on any hunt there without a doe permit....with each quota permit, regardless of the hunt, you can shoot 1 buck and 1 doe per person....i think it's the only wma that allows this....

i knooooooooowwwwwwwwwww , lol.........
i totally agree with the 50/50 management of their deer herd(for every buck taken, take a doe)....works great for there.....the only thing i don't like about it is the fact that lots of nubbin bucks are taken, folks are too quick with the trigger finger, they've got the "if it's brown, it's down" syndrome....on a good note, it allows kids and other hunters the oppurtunity to harvest a deer.....it's a good tool to get them into hunting....makes it more exciting for them...[8D]
