i know people who smoke and would do anything for anyone, literally. give the shirt off their back. give money. they dont have a mean or cruel cell in their body. and you think they are scum? you are judging someone by one little characteristic. you say how you were raised, but to me, it seems you werent raised with too good of morals/ideas/beleifs. again, i dont know, b/c i dont judge someone off one little forum, but from what it looks like, that is the impression i get.

So do I. I understand that there are TONS of people who smoke weed. Do it in your own home, not in the car and keep it the heck away from me. I will not hate someone for smoking a little weed. I know its not right and turning them in for smoking isn't taking anything off the streets. Only keeping that 1 person from doing it.

Its not the fact that I won't turn them in for smoking, read above. It's the ones who willl be trying to sell it to my kids, my friends kids and so on. You know, I have fessed up, told my stories. What I think is right or wrong. All in all selling and smoking are both wrong and both illegal. I perfectly understand that. Kinda like the speeding thing, if I reported every person I saw speeding I would spend all day on the phone, same thing with the people who smoke, its freaking everywhere, I would spend all day on the phone. Now if I could get a dealer off the street, thats a different story. Call it hypocritical if you want. I understand if you do. You asked for opinions and I gave you mine. I had a few words on here with geterdun3 on this thread and I resolved it with him. Like said, I am not on here looking for internet fights either. It is in the past. You asked for opinions and I gave it, then you whine about me being hypocritical. Do as you please but lets not get into another pissin' match here. Also, I don't even understand why you posted this topic. You asked for opinions and you got many. Then don't post for a while then come back bitchin about how you shouldn't turn them in. a lady within the past year was drivin down the road stoned in her car. she swerved into the other lane and took out a group of 6 guys on motorcycles. 1 Died, 1 lost a leg, 3 others were injured. These were all great guys in Bowling Green, not to mention very wealthy. Just some friends who went out for a ride, but now one is dead and another is confined to a wheelchair. Probably would have flown under the radar if it wasn't for the social status of these guys.[&:] I guess now youve heard of a weed caused car accident.

i dont see how you guys drag alcohol into the picture, the question isn't over if alcohol is as bad as weed, it is simply about is weed bad? YES. so is alcohol, i would never judge someone for smokin weed because IMO it isn't any worse than alcohol, but then again it is ILLEGAL, so iwould have called the police the day i found that patch.

If you already feel that these guys are ruining a good hunting area, I think it would be wise to turn these guys in. Maybe you have to lay low or hunt a different area for some time, but why should you lose out? I realize you take a risk but if you don't notify the authorities, what do you tell the cops when these guys harass you because they think you told the cops?I wouldn't think this activity will just go away if people ignore it. Pot is illegal and I don't understand why some on here are defending it's use. I agree that alcohol use can be more dangerous than pot use, but that does not mean that pot should be legal. I've certainly had my issues with alcohol and, thankfully, no one was hurt and I didn't screw my life up. If alcohol was outlawed, I could care less. Pot is illegal and I think it should stay that way. Just because it is not as bad as other drugs doesn't make it good. If just a small percentage of pot users mess their lives up, is it worth it? I keep hearing the same arguments but it just sounds like "I want to get high." I certainly don't think all people who smoke weed are scum, most are just your average Joe, but I think the real reason people want pot legalized, or even those who just downplay the legality of pot use, is to legitimize their own desire to get high.

I spoke to my hunting buddy last night. he is th eon ethat introduced me to this area. I have not spoken to him within th epast two weeks. He has been hunting this area for 10 years and last year was my first. He told me that he ahs seen these patches every year. People have called teh authorities in the past and there is nothing that they do about it. They have patrroled the roads there for a few days and questioned peolel enetering the woods but that is it.

This just proves a lot of points on here. Everybody thinks these people that smoke weed are scum and that this is such a huge offense. If that was truly the case then why is it that unless you have a ridiculous amount of pot then all you get is a small fine and a slap on the wrist. It seems like even the authorities think that pot is not that bad.
