My first deer was with a bow and it was a button buck, lol. At that age i thought just getting a deer would be cool and thought it was a doe. Oh well, a deers a deer.

First deer was a 5 pt on the 4th or 5th day of rifle season of my 1st season. Used my Dad's 6mm and I was 18.

The first deer I killed was 8-point buck. My dad and I stalked it in 10-degree weather, with a 40 mile-an-hour wind and on ground as flat as your living room floor. But that a story for another time. In

Yes I did get a deer my first year deer hunting,My first year of gun season which was many moons ago I shot a six point at 5 yds. away with a 12ga.and my first year of bow season I shot a nice 10pt. with a pse dakota which was my first bow to hunt with,and now I shoot a fred bear Truth.
