I do not use any of the "scent-free" products. The only thing I do is hunt the wind. I could have shot well over 60 deer this year and we still have another month. Keep on paying six to ten bucks for some super scent mixtures, they will lay on the beaches in Hawaii living the good life dreaming up even more products.

I use the scent free laundry soap and body wash and shampoo, but its not for the sake of trying to outwit elk and deer so much. The laundry soap I use does not use brighterners that create waves of light that animals are sensitive to. My camo doesn't have that shine in it, and that is as far as outwitting critters is concerned.
My main reason for using the soaps is I find that my clothes and body don't develope that body stink quite so fast or heavy. I spend 7 to 10 days in a tent camp at a time, and anything I can do to get rid of excess body odor is very welcome. (sorry, but skinny diping in ice water isn't for me)
One of the best things I have found though, is drink only water for my big game month. Beer gives your sweat an odor so does soda and cutting them out of my diet for a month helps. Makes the beer mighty welcome at the end of it too. :

Some of you treat scent control like it's an option. Let me ask you a question. Would you go back to woodland green camo? I bet not so why don't you improve your scent camo techniques? It all helps to blend in sight, sound, and smell. I do it all. It's not an option and pretty soon some of you will come around just like when that "purty" camo started coming out 15 years ago.
