Hey Rick welcome to the forums. I am also from Maryland. This will be our first snowstorm of the season. Most of the deer will stay bedded down while it snows. As soon as it stops snowing all the deer will come out and start looking for food. Depending on where you are they will be looking for acorns, corn or soybeans.

i dont know bout anyone else but walking in the woods may make the deer more alert but wont make them run every animal has to walk if im not mistaking and the snow makes them sound the same so walk slow and take a step and look another step and look be careful cause you really dont want to be busted!!!!!
