Slim Pickins

The Outdoor Channel is my favorite and my DVR is full of hunting TV. Bowhunting is up close and personal and much more exciting. This is why is makes for better TV. Most people really don't want to watch a guy in a tower stand shoot deer in Texas at 400 yards. It is goin to be hard to find a new, rifle hunt only DVD. But I think the bowhunting guys are sinking into a hole. It is now very common to make a bad shot and show no remorse over having to "let em lay overnight". Then the next morning they run up to the stiff carcass yelling an screaming about the horns. This gives bowhunting a really bad image in my opinion. I know that sometimes there are no other options but it just seems to happen all the time.
