I saw a post from a couple of days ago about the new cuddeback and I am interested in buyingone. I had a stealth cam poswhich took severalseconds to take a picture. I took that back to Bass Pro and now I am saving for a cuddeback and I am hoping it will be faster. I have several questions about the "new" camera compared to the old one.

1. Does anyone have any problems with the triggering speed with the 2005 or older model? Does it take several seconds as welll?
2.What is the trigger speed supposed to be for the 2006 model?
3. When will the 2006s be availble?
4. Where can I get the best dealon either one?

I just bought one from cabelas for 399.00 bucks. Not sure about its triger speed compared to the 2006 modles but I had fun getting lots of pics of my dogs in the back yard. I then took it to work this weekend and got some pics of people walking by. I turned the flash off so that they would not know about it and walk slow or fast most of the people were within ten to fifteen feet walking perpendicular to it. all of the people were fully in the pics no blank pics!!! I am off tomarrow and hope to get it set up. hope this helps.

You can get the Cuddeback 3.0 on Ebay for about $320 plus $10 shipping. That is Brand new. It is a great cam and yes the trigger time is under 1 sec. I have taked over 1,000 pictures in a few weeks and have not had any missed pictures.

In June, cuddeback is coming out with it's 3.0 mp smallerand with a bigger flash. If you have any bears around, get the bear safe box or it will get chewed up!
