What animals spook deer?

What animals spook deer?
Aside from predators, which is obvious, what animals have you observed together with deer? Squirrels sometimes spook them. Turkeys don't seem to bother them. I saw 3 raccoons last night from the stand but didn't see any deer. Connection? Probably not, but I'm just curious as to what your experiences are.

Turkeys don't bother them at all. I've even seen young turkeys walk under deer. Squirrels never seem to bother them, Rabbits don't either. I don't know if foxes will try to kill deer, but the deer don't like them.

I would agree, this is a good question.
Besides natural predators, keep in mind that deer like any other animal on this god given planet, do not like being disturbed or bothered.
And like many animals including us, we have become aware of warning signs that alarm us. And in the woods this can be mistaken the deer not liking these particular animals.
For instance. I have been stalking or watching deer that have squirrels around them and when another squirrels is alamrmed by be or somthing ells, they sound the alarm inturn the deer notices this and also takes action to vanish.
The same with blasted crows! many times I have watched deer run out of view when they start, cawing!
I have seen coons, squirrlls, and other smaller animals pester deer and even challenge them to food! frusterated the deer have just walk off into the woods or go to another spot.
As far as fox I've seen them around deer and not alarm them. I've accually seem deer chase them as if they were playing games?

I have a pic of deer and coons eating out of the same feeder at the same time. So I don't think deer are too concerned about coons. I would post it but here lately my pics show up as red x's.

Predators and humans. I've seen deer with elk, turkeys a lot, coons, rabbits, squirrels etc. However, as the guys mentioned, an alarm signal from any animal in the woods (that the deer are used to hearing, and know it is an alarm signal) will usually alert the deer.

in the spot i hunt, when the cows are there, the deer dont come. and one time, my friend was about to shoot a deer, when a squirrel knocked a horse apple out of a tree and that deer was gone.
