So using a rifle is illegal there? Why don't they trust ya'll with a rifle? Are padded tree stand seats allowed?

No it shouldnt be illegal in Texas. There are so many deer sometimes there isnt enought food for them all. Thats why we have extended doe and spike seasons here. It gives them food and protien. Plus sometimes thats the only way you can lure then out of the thick brush. I bet if most of you saw a nice buck eating some corn you had thrown out you would probably shoot it.

Man this is beggining to get pretty stupid. This thread needs to be killed off. Everyone who baits can tell you that baiting is a great management tool and anyon that hasnt done it or isnt able to do it do not know what they are missing. END THIS THREAD!!

yea but these deer arnt in a zoo are they. didnt think so. i guess you wouldnt know what its like to have too many deer on your hunting land. none the less i have feeders on my hunting land but i dont shoot my bucks off of them.
