Baiting is not fair chase. It's not the hunting I will do, nor is it the hunting I will teach my children. It offers an unfair advantage for the hunter and it takes away the aspects of scouting and good old wholesome hunting.

Don't high powered rifles and scopes offer an "unfair" andvantage as well?

Don't hanging a tree-stand to "fool" the deer offer an "unfair" advantage as well.

Don't cover scents attractants, mock scrapes, and deer calls offer an "unfair" advantage?

Would you consider trail cameras "unfair"? I mean you don't actually do the scouting, you rely on a automatic camrea to do it for you.

I have said it before, I use a corn feeder......it's legal in WV. I see a lot of Deer daily and learn from there behavior. I completely understand why other hunters would not wantto bait.............but I have a huge problem when a hunter starts talking about "unfair" advantages when he/she uses plenty of gimmicks/gadgets that also create an unfair advantage.

It's hunting people. Do what makes you happy "as long as it's legal" and stop judging others becasue you don't "do it that way".

Some of you need a ladder to get on top of you soap boxes..........and I think a lot of it is hypicritical!

I dont' think anyone really does give a rats *** if you bait or not (at least I dont'). My original post clearly stated how I felt about it. I also don't see the need to be so defensive about it and telling non baiters to get off their high horses. Like I already said my style of hunting is no better than anyone elses. I just don't agree with baiting and am trying to point out why at the same time trying to be enlightened by the method of baiting and the reasonings.

Whats the big friggin deal?

Seems some like to assume after reading some limited one sided material that baiting is Voo-Doo hunting.

For those that don't Pass Judgement on this subject- THANKS
AJ, you seem to miss a point of a forum. No offenseintended.People post thier opinion onthe matter. It doesn't mean they pass judgement. Thats too easyof a copout. People on here wants the respect to let them do something that some states consider unethical and others don't. Well rest of us wants the respect to be able to post an opinion. Make sense? No big F??? Deal as you say. Its just internet opinions. No big deal on any of these forums. Besides the Religion forum.
