which do you like better?

The closer the better ,but I will shoot to over 400 yards under the right conditions.

I, too, prefer to hunt in thicker areas. Bow/pistol range would be my choice as well.

I voted bow/pistol range, but most of my gun shots end up being around 80 yards, and I don't have a problem with 150-200 yards if the weapon is cabable of it. It's not a shot that presents itself very often where I live.

For target type stuff I shoot at 50 and 100 yards.

Where i hunt shots dont get ove 100 yards so i put 50-100 yards. However I am comfortable with any shot up to 400 yards.
