Can anyone tell me where I can find out how many points that it takes to draw a tag in each unit for CO. I am wanting to start researching a mule deer hunt, but I need to know what areas I would have a chance to draw.
I couldent find anything on the CO DOW website. Thanks

If you look in the DOW archives (on their site) you will find the stats. These stats are actual, and differ from the previous years' data. It is tough to navigate and the info is somewhat cryptic, but they do tell you which units you can draw with 0 to however many points. Also, the Huntin' Fool (HuntinFool.com) covers a bunch of their units, even some that take 0 to 3 points.

Get a subscription to the Huntin Fool magazine and you will get the information on all 14 western states and which ones are the best to draw for Trophy Animals, average animals and which units are the best to draw in just to get an animal. Check them out at www.huntinfool.com. They also have a great application service that can help you manage all of the important draws out west! Jenny who handles all of the application services is a real joy to work with!

Two places you can go in the web[CDOW], both are under Statistics.
1 is Preference points required, 2 and the better one I thinks is Hunting Recaps. The second one shows you how many hunters drew with how many points.
