I wash mine in scent free hunting soap and let them dry outside. I then store some in plastic containers and some in heavy duty trash liners. I put a pine bough or two in each container or bag and store them next to my gun cabinet.

I have all of my camo and thermals and what-not, on its own hanger, on one side of my closet, and the rest of my clothes on the other side. Never really thought about the scent from my other clothes bothering the scent of my camo. I wash mine in the scent killing, uv killing wash detergent also. But just hang it back in the closet. I may try the plastics or something now, since most of you guys do it and I am guessing it works for yall? lol.
