Default seasons over, your huntin clothes

SINCE MOST SEASONS ARE OVER FOR DEER, HOW DO YOU STORE YOUR CLOTHES... WHAT THE BEST WAY SO YOU DONT GET YOUR HOME SCENT ON THEM.,IVE HEARD OF PUTTING PINE STRAW ECT IN PLASTIC BAGS AND STORING YOUR CLOTHES IN THEM, BUT WHATS ANOTHER GREAT TECHNIQUE, OR SHOULD I NOT EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT AND JUST WASH THEM AGAIN BEFORE NEXT TIME I USE THEM IN UNSCENTED LAUNDRY DETERGENT!!

I have a seperate closet for my hunting clothes, nothing else goes into the closet but my hunting gear and a box of baking soda. The closet is in a room that has none of the wife's pretty little smelly things in. She has that stuff all over the house but it is strictly forbidden in this room. I wash my clothes in a hunters wash even in the off season for deer.( when they are used for small game hunting.)

Well once I get them washed in plain water with some baking soda I am putting mine in a plastic container in the crawl space under my house or out in my shed with some pine boughs.

I keep mine in tupperware containers under the bed. Anytime they are not on me or in the wash thats where they'll be.

I wash mine is scent free soap with a subtle buck attractant. I often find bucks in my laundry room doing the wash. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I store the clothes in a cedar lined chest throughout the year.

I use my hunting clothes all year round. When they get washed, it is in scent-killing soap with no UV brighteners. Before deer season, they get washed again. When not actually being worn, they are kept in a large tupperware container in the basement along with some dried oak leaves.

Wash them in a scent free hunting soap. then place them in cedar chips, layer of chips then clothes, then chips, then clothes. Can be a little messy ( chips ). I use a closet that is lined in cedar, it has a 2 foot board in the doorway to keep the chips in. I lay them on the floor. The clothes have a real strong cedar smell when I take them out of storage. It works, deer have not busted me because of smell in years.

I wash mine with a little baking soda then seal them up in a plastic bag and store it in the attic until next fall.
