If I'm bowhunting I rarely stay out all day so I'll just bring binoculars, and grunt call, both of which I carry around my neck, a knife, flashlight, and rope. Of course my bow and a quiver with a few arrows.
During the gun season I'll add a GPS and some sandwiches, snack bars, and drinks. Depending how deep I'll be hunting in the woods I might bring matches, and a space blanket too, but ussually I'm hunting farms and smaller wood lots.

Mostly bow hunt here. The stuff looks good but that floor is real nice. Can't place the wood. What kind is it. Nice staight grain looks like a redwood but I didn't think they made that for an interior surface.

Hmmm... welcome to floor chat: (kiddn')
The wood is fir and was found under two layers of carpet in the farm house we live in, built in 1941. We did some repairs and found a second layer of the same lumber under it. Dont you wish they still made them like that today? My wife wanted to finish them herself so she rented a drum sander and put a light stain on it. Not bad for a girl eh?
