What goose decoys does everyone use in there spread? What ones do you like the best and which ones work the best?
We have 6 Flambeau Magnums with the reversible heads 3 Flambeau Supper Magnums, 8 Big Foots (4 feeding), 12 Silhouettes, and a Foiles Canada goose Flag. We also have 2 Carry Lite flying Goose Shells ($50 for the pair and not worth it) at first the wings were hard to get on and off but by the end of season if the wind would gust they would fall off. The paint on the back also chipped off taking the wings on and off. The cross member used to hold the decoys off the ground and the chest cavity open was to thin and a pain in the ass to use.
This spread worked very well durring the last season. We did not get the Big Foots or the Flag until Christmas so we didn't get to use them for the early or regular season.
This year we are all going to have layout blinds probably the Migrator.

We use about a dozen Flambeau super mag shells, 2-4 goose magnets set at different levels, and about 6 dozen silhouettes. That's typical for us but later in the season when the birds are decoy shy we use maybe 4 shells, 1-2 magnets somtimes none, and only 3-5 dozen silhouettes. We had our best shoot last year putting out only 4 dozen silhouettes.
