gobble stopper

ok heres the scoop so far:

Remington SP-10 with Kicks Gobblin Thunder .690 choke tube.

All shots listed are each manufacturers turkey loads. I used shotgun patterning targets and turkey targets.


40 yards:

federal #5 - 134 hits in 14" circle
winch. #5 - 139 hits in 14" circle
federal #4 - 98 hits in 14" circle
winch. #4 - 80 hits in 14" circle
reming. #4 - 10 skull/spine hits, 40 head/neck hits total
federal #5 - 8 skull/spine hits, 32 head/neck hits total

50 yards:

federal #4 - 5 skull/spine hits, 10 head/neck hits total
reming. #4 - 5 skull/spine hits, 10 head/neck hits total

Some patterns not as good as i expected but i have alot more shooting to do. Will be shooting some nitro's in the next few weeks. I will post results as i get them. Safe hunting.

gobble stopper I dont know if you have ever tried nitro before I hadnt until this year once you do youll never shoot factory again I patterned my 870 super mag and my 835 yesterday with unbelievable results my lowest count at 40 yards in a 12 inch circle was 341 pellets the highest was 406 shooting 4x5 copper by 7 hevi shot let my know how the nitros pattern

I shoot an SP-10 and have found that Federals shoot much better than other loads in my gun and i would say that 4's shot better than 6's. I have never tried Nitro's though so let us know how they shoot for you.
