Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Black Hills??

I've got free 3 night's stay at a hotel in Rapid City and was thinking about using it for a Black Hills turkey hunt. I've never been out there and was wondering what is the best time to go?? Any information on this area would be greatly appreciated.

I can understand my friend , As I had posted on the other forum , it can be done without a guide and if you follow my post. I understood years ago that the Merriam population tends to migrate to lower levels over the winter months and then travel back up to higher grounds in the spring. I got this info from a local Cowboy that hunts sheds in the area . I have the aridginal Mount Rushmore pic if you want to see it. It was taken back in 99/00 and went National. Since then there has been others that have did the same with the idea...BT
