Wow! wish I' d had my camera. I was out scouting this morning for opening day tomorrow and saw some hens through the trees out in an open field. Got closer to see with binoculars and there was a WHITE hen. She had very little barring on her feathers that I could make out. The toms (3 of them) just couldn' t break away from her. They were all three strutting and seemed to be staying closer to her than to the other hens.

It was so cool. ... Now if I can get one of them toms in the morning.
